Processing purposes and legal bases
Your personal data will be processed from us in order to evaluate the success of our Flow Control marketing campaign and to provide you with information on our flow control products. A possible sales-follow up is only done regarding existing customers which actively download the product brochure available on the website. Your personal data will not be used for any other marketing purposes other than highlighted in this statement. Processing of your personal data is necessary to deliver the website services and/or used on user’s consent (via the cookie consent banner). The website does not make any fully automated decision on you, including profiling.
Processed personal data categories and affected data subjects
Within the scope of the website, we process the following data categories:
Contact data
- Existing customers: UID numbers which can be linked to Customer’ contact data as outlined in CRM (such as name, e-mail address), IP address
- Other third parties which access the website (e.g. prospective customers): IP address
Behavioral data
Customers: Data about the email usage such as open rate and clicks as well as downloads of the product brochure on the website will be processed by us as soon as the customers access the website.
Performance data
Customers and third parties (‘users’): Aggregated data about the downloads, scroll depth, time spent on site, etc., see details below, as collected by Google Analytics. RHI Magnesita only receives the aggregated performance data reports, which inform – in an aggregated way – about these kinds of data. As soon as the users access the website and agrees to the relevant cookie settings, users’ IP addresses will be collected by Google Analytics.
In case the user accesses the landing page via LinkedIn, LinkedIn collects the following data from the users: IP addresses, clicks on ad, downloads as well as and job title, company, country, career level, company size, city/area. RHI Magnesita only receives the aggregated performance and demographical data reports from LinkedIn.
Place of data processing and transmission of data
Personal data and behavioural data of existing customers collected via this website (behavioural data regarding email usage and downloads on landing page) will be processed and stored y us in RHIM Azure Cloud and managed through the RHIM’s Business Applications such as Dynamics 365 and Microsoft Office Apps).
Aggregated performance data by all users of the website, including existing and prospective customers, will be processed in EU and/or the EEA and, at least in part, outside the EU and/or the EEA ("Third Countries"). The UID numbers of existing customers are stored on the website. They will not be shared with any external recipients and manually linked back to CRM by RHIM employees.
Google Analytics
For the purposes as outlined above, we use the Google Analytics tool, a web analysis service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Google).
Any data generated by these cookies on the use of this website will be forwarded to and stored on a Google server in the USA, in the context of using the Google Analytics web analysis service. However, according to Google Analytics, your IP address will immediately be anonymized, so that it can no longer be attributed to you. This means that personal data is neither collected nor analyzed, nor linked to other such data. Google Analytics collects the information as listed in the cookie banner relating to website navigation.

LinkedIn tag
We use the LinkedIn Insight tag, based on web analysis technology of LinkedIn Ireland Unlimited Company (LinkedIn). This technology allows us to show you interest-specific and more relevant ads on LinkedIn (retargeting) after you have visited our Flow Control website, although we will not be able to identify you as website visitor. In addition, LinkedIn allows us to create reports of aggregated data for the provision of ads, information on website interaction (conversion tracking) and on website target groups.
For this purpose, the LinkedIn Insight Tag places a cookie in your web browser that allows us to collect data relating to your visits on our website, including URL, IP address, referrer URL, device and browser characteristics, page views and time of day. During a visit to our website, such data will be transferred to LinkedIn servers part of which may be located in the USA. According to LinkedIn, this information will be encrypted, pseudonymized within seven days and deleted within 90 days. LinkedIn does not share any personal data with us but provides anonymized reports on website target groups and the provision of ads. LinkedIn may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law or where such third parties process such information on behalf of LinkedIn.

Storage period of the data
To the extent necessary we will process your personal data for the duration of the marketing campaign and afterwards in accordance with the relevant statutory retention and documentation duties or for the period of establishing any claims under civil law. Thereafter your personal data will be deleted immediately.
